Kung Fu Panda 2

The summer movie season is now in full swing, which means that Kung Fu Panda 2 will be out in theatres this weekend!

I really enjoyed the first movie and hope that this movie will live up to my expectations. I have heard some basic early reviews and it seems like it should be good. Of the summer movies so far this one should be entertaining for the whole family. I will be seeing it this weekend sometime, and I can report back after that.

Kung Fu Panda 2 is rated PG, and has a running time of 90 minutes. To find out more about the movie see IMDB.

Here is a trailer:

Here are pictures of their giraffes:

Here is what the website states about Petite Lap Giraffes:

“Petite Lap Giraffes are very funny animal that require special care. They need lots of love. Hugs and kisses every day. Otherwise they make tears. If you have children, petite lap giraffes no problem. If child is loud, the giraffe will be shy, but does not bite. PLG’s are very clean. With training they will go in box like cats. Allergies never a problem.”

Well, where I live we are supposed to be getting a blizzard tonight into tomorrow. So far there is only a little wind and snow – so we shall see. But in honor of winter here are puppies enjoying the snow:

What Kind of Bird is Big Bird?

Have you ever wondered what kind of bird Big Bird is?

I had never really considered it until I happened across a video today that is a hilarious explanation from Mike Dickison, a zoologist.

He gave a presentation which features his studies of flightless birds and what he believes could be Bid Bird utilizing science and humor to create something I found very entertaining.

I wish I could share the video on here directly, but I do not know how, so please visit What, if anything, is Big Bird? to see the video and learn more about Mr. Dickison.

Could he be part Emu?
